Well its about time they took off the Arabic crap that has been on the face of the currency,
i wonder why it was there in the first place seeing that Nigeria was and never will be an Islamic nation.
yes we do have Muslims in there but we also have Christians too and what is this i hear that the Muslims do not approve of the new notes well if you ask me they can all go to hell.

Girl bathes lover with hot soup

The sleepy Isikalu street in Olodi Apapa area of Lagos was last week thrown into disarray, following a shrill shout from one of the buildings situated at number 35.

Surprise and shock were the best words to describe the expressions on the faces of occupants of the building, some of whom just came in from their respective  places of work and other residents of the densely populated street, as they rushed to where the shout was coming from.

 

The curious residents were further startled as they beheld a young man on the floor, groaning in pains. A closer look at the victim, revealed a peeled skin, from his  head to toe, as a result of hot soup taken from the fire, that was poured on him.

 

The perpetrator? No other person than his girl-friend of two years. The cause? For sleeping with his girl friend’s younger sister.

The victim who was immediately identified as a regular caller at the building, lost consciousness at that point. He was immediately rushed to a near-by hospital, from  where he was referred to another hospital in Festac Town.

 

Later that day, Christopher Edem, who is a student of the University of Lagos, regained consciousness. But his immediate environment looked strange to him and as  he tried to remember how he got to the hospital, sources at the clinic said he shouted in pidgin English “so this girl been want send me to grave? Wetin I for tell my  God? He thereafter, attempted to sit up but let out a painful shout following the excruciating pains from the burning sensation on his skin.

At that juncture, one was forced to ask what sin he committed to have warranted such devilish treatment not just from a fellow human being but a girl-friend for that  matter.

 

The answer to that question was got in this interview with no other person than Christopher’s girl friend, Mary Omojiagbe, an indegene of Edo State who has been in  police net since the incident took place.  But from all indications, it was apparent that Mary was unaware of the trouble she was into, as she showed no sign of  remorse at all, coupled by her display of nonchalancy towards the whole thing. Rather,  she was still fuming from the offence committed by her boyfriend which she  described as an abominable act.

My name is Mary Omojiagbe.  I am from Ewhohinmi, a tribe in Ishan, Edo State. I am 19 years old.

How did you find yourself in Police net?

They said I poured hot water on my boyfriend.

Did you actually do it and was it hot water or hot soup?

I was actually preparing Ogbono soup on the fire when he came to the house. I had already put every other ingredients, remaining the ogbono.

Why did you have to do that?

 

Can you imagine that he was going out with me and at the same time sleeping with my kid sister? Is that right? I have known him for two years now. Things were moving smoothly between us. But I never knew that he was having a field day sexually with my kid sister. He  started sleeping with her the same year we started going  out. Such act is abominable. It is not only abominable but also forbidden in my place. From where I come from, it is sacrilege for a man to be making love to two  sisters.

 

But was that enough justification to pour hot soup on a fellow human being?

I did not mean to pour him the hot water. Like I told you I was cooking when he came. After his shameful deed was revealed, I told him to stay away from me that I was no longer interested in the relationship. But he insisted that the relationship must go on that we should put what  had happened behind us and forge ahead. At a  point he threatened to kill me and that I had no right whatsoever to to call it quit except he decided otherwise. He also threatened that he would disfigure me so that  no other person finds me attractive

 

How did you find out he has been sleeping with your sister?

My sister told me herself. In fact, she told me last December that my boyfriend had slept with her several times and that there was nothing I could do about it.

Were you quarreling when she told you that?

 

No, we weren’t. She just told me plainly. She said my boy friend threatened her not to tell anyone, that the day she reveals it to anybody she would die. She also said  Christopher ( her boyfriend) said he had taken her name to Guru’s shrine  and that something had been done with her name which will make her die if she disclosed  the act to anyone. But I don’t know what came over her the day she opened up. In fact she said they do it right in the house when everyone would have been away.  She said they have done it not just once, twice or thrice but several times which she could not count. When she told me, my whole life crumbled because I least  expected that Christopher could degrade himself as to be sleeping with my teenage sister. Am I not enough for him?.

 

How old is your sister in question?

My sister was 14 years old when he started sleeping with her. After the shocking revelation, I asked Christopher and he did not  deny it. That was when I decided to stay away from him. But he would not call the relationship quit. He kept coming and threatened to kill me. When he came last  Saturday, he met me cooking. I told  him to leave but he would not listen. He took a plier and said he would remove my teeth. At that point I became angry because he was now taking that matter serious  It was in that process that I lifted the pot of soup from the fire and poured it on him. I did it out of annoyance because I loved him”.

I know what is going throug your mind right now is that if she loved him pouring hot boiling soup on him does not exactly says that now does it ? Then you might be saying why would the guy be sleeping with the two sisters any way and that he deserves it... wwrong people that boiling soup she poured on him, nobodt deserves to suffer third degree burn because he or had sex with your family member and what may her think it is a strange thing that it took place at all is beyond me.

In modern day america  if you gather at least 100 women i can confidently tell you that more than half of them have add sex with their lovers friend or even family member this also hold same for the guys too, so it is no strange thing at all. Why even some of the cheating family member do know that the person they are having sex with is the boyfriend or girlfriend of their family member.

I think her sister is a much as to blame as the incestious lover too, so whenever she get out of jail maybe she should boil some soup and pour on her.. ha ha ha .. not funny .
